“I chose LighterLife because of the CBT sessions which were incredibly helpful and Zoe, my Mentor was always there for me, so I never felt alone. The level of support is outstanding, I loved the weekly sessions and our WhatsApp group was fully supportive with plenty of helpful tips and ideas.
The first few days were tough, but I quickly felt relieved that I was back in control. The group strength and insights into behaviours helped me to think I would be successful beyond the diet itself.
My old wardrobe is weirdly my new wardrobe as I have always had lots of clothes I couldn’t fit into. Exploring new looks has been interesting and having the option to experiment is lovely.
Since losing weight I have embraced life – I’ve done the Great North Swim and I’m now doing a virtual walk from Lands End to John O’Groats. I’m also cycling and wild swimming. I’ve managed to hit the gym and I regularly take part in spin classes and Pilates.

If you are thinking of joining, I would highly recommend you access a Mentor and the Facebook support group. Always attend your CBT sessions, they are invaluable.
Try letting a few short-term goals and never think you are a failure because the scales don’t do what you want them to!
