I chose LighterLife because of the CBT Mindfulness, which was incredibly helpful, and my Mentor, Zoe, was always there for me, so I never felt alone. I loved the weekly sessions, and our WhatsApp group was fully supportive with plenty of helpful tips and ideas. Not only have I lost over 8 stone, but I saved money whilst doing so. I was shocked to find that I had more money left at the end of the week.
There were two main things it didn’t take me long to grasp. I had never realised how much I spent on popping to the shops to buy a loaf of bread and coming out with a bag of goodies. Going into the petrol station meant I filled up myself as well as the car and I would sometimes treat myself to a bottle of wine. I had always assumed that a food shop once a week saw me through but now, I realise it wasn’t just about the main weekly shop.
Initially, I’d spent a long time worrying about whether it was value for money, should I spend that much on myself. I spoke to my Mentor, and she helped me realise I was worth it. The level of support is outstanding and the fact that you get free weekly CBT Mindfulness sessions is priceless!
