With LighterLife, you’ll have your very own personal LighterLife Mentor right from the get-go. Trained specialists, they will work with and help you face into and understand your own challenges with weight gain and loss, and will help guide you every step of the way so you can start living your lighter life. People often find dieting a lonely place, but you’re never on your own when you’re with us.
Personal Mentor support – how it works
The relationship you build with your Mentor (think of them as your own personal trainer) is key to your success – truly priceless, in fact, because it’s absolutely free.
Our Mentors have helped over a million people manage their difficult relationships with food, making living lighter not just a dream, but a long-term reality.
In your weekly meetings and the days in between your sessions, your Mentor will provide support and guidance, and empower you to work through any challenges you may be facing. They’ll also help you stay on track by monitoring your weekly weight loss because accountability is a key part of why LighterLife works.
Free weekly meetings
Your personal LighterLife Mentor hosts a small group session each week to support you while you’re losing weight. The sessions are online, which means you can be there no matter where you are. Your Mentor will explain how the group works and give you any guidance you need to access the sessions.
We also run some face-to-face groups, however the vast majority of our clients find online sessions much more convenient.
What happens in the meetings?
Magic, that’s what! Each week, your Mentor guides you through a discussion topic, using CBT Mindfulness tools and techniques to help you explore your thoughts and feelings around food, trigger situations and life in general. It’s a proven way to make lasting changes. And you’ll be amazed by what you find out about yourself – it’s a real journey of discovery.
The LighterLife Community
Your Mentor will have a WhatsApp chat where you can keep in touch, including with the other people in your group. You can also join our private LighterLife TotalFast Facebook group for hints, advice and encouragement from thousands of LighterLife clients.
One of the most valuable aspects of LighterLife is our unique community. You’ll be surrounded by people who understand, because they’re going through it too and there’s something incredibly powerful about connecting with others who truly get you.
What happens after I’ve lost weight?
Once you’ve reached your goal weight, your Mentor will offer you a place in a free Management group. With their guidance, you’ll slowly reintroduce a full range of conventional foods and continue to develop and practise your CBT Mindfulness skills for living your lighter life.
