FAST (5:2)

The LighterLife 5:2 Fast Plan is a great way to lose weight or manage a healthy weight. Replace your conventional food with 4 of our tasty Foodpacks on days you choose to Fast and get all the nutrition you need in around 600 Calories (you can’t do that with ordinary food). There is no weighing, no shopping, no counting - it is so easy, especially if you use Foodpacks and meal replacements like LighterLife FastPots on non-Fast days too as convenient, nutritious meal options!

Popular Fast days are Monday and Thursday as it pays back for a heavy weekend and then saves up for the next one. You can Fast more days a week if you want.  Fast groups have up to eleven others in the group all using the same 5:2 Fast plan (we don’t mix men and women).  There, using CBT, you can develop the tools to understand your relationship with food and drink.


  • Upto 1/3 of your RDA’s of vitamins and minerals in each pack – around 600kcal a Fast day
  • You’ll need 32 Foodpacks or Meal Replacements for 4 weeks (with more for other days or if you do more than 2 Fast days a week)
  • Unique LighterLife CBT counselling content (with group subscription)
  • Access to online support tools and community, mentoring emails and tips by text
  • Eat normally for the other days of the week
