“I keep checking myself out in the mirror”
“Looking back, I have been dieting since I was around 18 years old and I’ve tried just about every diet out there but always slipped back to my old habits.
I looked at LighterLife a long time ago and felt it was too expensive at that time, having now done the diet I can see that it’s not, I can see how much support there is and more importantly how the CBT and maintenance is so important.
I was on the verge of starting type 2 diabetes medication as my HbA1c (blood sugar levels) were 54 in Dec 2020 but that isn’t needed anymore, as in April when I’d lost 3 stone, they’d fallen to 35 – what a relief. Another reason why LighterLife is such a good diet.
Since losing 5 stone my confidence has soured, I can walk, breathe properly and ‘sit slim’ with my legs crossed! and I’m even looking at becoming a Mentor myself and helping others on their weight-loss journey.
I am excited to see how I can introduce food back into my diet, I know I will not have to count calories and I understand how the packs will fit into my life going forward. I have a holiday booked in August and I don’t have any fear of putting weight back on or falling off the wagon. I don’t think I have ever felt ‘excited’ about having a diet in my life, but I do with LighterLife!”
