My Weight-Managment Counsellor Claire is wonderful. She has
encouraged me to think honestly about why I eat so much at times
when I'm not even hungry. She has helped me to see that I overeat
when I'm stressed and so I need to learn different ways to manage
my stress levels. Ways that don't involve food. Put like that it
sounds simple but after being overweight for years, I finally
understand why.

Counsellor made me feel very welcome and I soon realised that the
rest of my group were all there for the same reason as me – to lose
weight and learn how to keep it off. Now I really look forward to
my weekly group meeting. I see it as time for me, time during which
I can focus on learning how to manage my weight.
