It is estimated that 13 million people in the UK will be obese by 2010, each with their own reasons for being overweight. You could help them to understand why and how to achieve a healthier weight - and build up a healthy business in the process.
The LighterLife Programme is delivered by self-employed, licensed LighterLife Counsellors, who work with clients to enable them to address the psychological and emotional causes of their weight gain, not just the physical symptoms. It uses a wide range of tools, including counselling, nutritionally complete formula foods and life-skills coaching to enable obese people to lose weight safely and quickly and to live more healthily in the long term.
LighterLife Counsellors undergo two years of intensive, expert-led training in counselling skills, physiology and business skills. They are accredited by Edexcel with a BTEC certificate and, subsequently, a diploma in Operating a Weight Management Consultancy. Although it takes two years to become a fully accredited LighterLife Counsellor, your business can be up and running after the first four months.
As a LighterLife Counsellor you can:
