Cardiac disease
Patients who have a history of arrhythmia,
heart failure or valve disease requiring treatment are unsuitable
for LighterLife's weight-loss programmes.
Patients who have suffered a heart attack may
participate if the following conditions are met:
- More than six months has passed.
- Patient’s condition is stable.
- You support your patient’s wish to lose weight with LighterLife
and agree to carry out their ongoing checks.
Other cardiac conditions may exclude a patient
from LighterLife. If you are unsure of their suitability, please
ensure you capture the condition on the LighterLife Health Questionnaire Form supplied by your patient
or contact the LighterLife medical department.
