After moving to the UK from South Africa and having her children, Diane decided to join her local dance group at this point she was 5 stone over weight. She found she’d lost her confidence.
‘I didn’t feel like I could be the best mum as I was, I couldn’t get physically involved as much as I wanted to. At the mums race at the school, everything in me wanted to go and do it, but I knew I couldn’t, my asthma was so bad I couldn’t run.’
